The Bourne Identity

My favorite spy movie of all time is The Bourne Identity. It stars Matt Damon and is based off a best selling novel.

The movie revolves around Matt Damon's character Jason Bourne who is found floating in the ocean. The entire movie then follows Jason as he tries to remember who, and what, he is. A fishing boat finds him and picks him up and drops him off on shore. As he slowly walks around a seemingly foreign land he runs into people that help him along the way.

At this same time, the United States government seem to be keeping tabs on his movements; from him entering his bank account to every time he gets onto a train.

With one of the most exciting Mini Cooper car chases you’ll find in any movie, this is a movie you cannot miss. It is very interesting to see how a man with the talents of a spy tries to understand why he knows such talents and the lengths he will go to find out who he is, and then the lengths he'll go to protect those who have helped him on the way.

The movie also has two squeals, "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum."

Unlike many spy movies, such at the James Bond series, Jason does not have any high tech gear, or fancy tools to help him out. He simply has anything he can find and he has to frequently adapt to his surroundings making him a sort of James Bond meets McGiver. All in all, this movie is much more interactive than any other spy movie because the viewer has to try and figure out what is happening along with the main character.

The constant threat coming from any direction and the mystery surrounding his like makes Jason Bourne a memorable character in an unforgettable movie.
